Edinburgh Epistemology Workshop + 2010 Nature of Knowledge Lecture

I'm organising an informal epistemology workshop to coincide with Robert Audi's visit to the Edinburgh philosophy department next month as the 2010 Scots Philosophical Club Centennial Fellow and to deliver the 2010 Nature of Knowledge lecture. The workshop will take place on Wednesday July 7th prior to the Nature of Knowledge lecture, and confirmed speakers so far include Al Casullo and Audi himself. More details about the workshop are available here, and more details about the Nature of Knowledge lecture are available here. All are welcome to both events and there is no registration fee. Any questions, just let me know.

Experiment Month

Tamar Szabo Gendler has been in touch to let me know about this great new initiative they're running--Experiment Month:

The Experiment Month initiative is a program designed to help philosophers conduct experimental studies. If you are interested in running a study, you can send your study proposal to the Experiment Month staff. Then, if your proposal is selected for inclusion, we will conduct the study online, send you the results and help out with any statistical analysis you may need. All proposals are due Sept. 1.

For further information, go to Experiment Month.
